The Amtrak Police and Central Region Homeland Security Advisory Council hosted the Passenger Emergency Response Training this Saturday, June 15, at the Grafton & Upton Rail Yard. It is a two-part classroom and practical, emergency preparedness course for professionals who may respond to a passenger rail emergency. The practical session of this training used Amtrak and MBTA Commuter Rail cars to perform several practical exercises and scenarios.
