The National Weather Service Boston and MEMA recognize March 10 - 16, 2024 as Flood Safety Awareness Week, and has prepared the toolkits below for Emergency Managers, Planners and Preparedness Personnel.
The 2024 MEMA Flood Safety Awareness Week Toolkit
The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) has developed the toolkit below to help you share important flood preparedness messages to your community. The toolkit includes key messages, which can be tailored to write local press releases or blog posts, as well as sample social media posts and graphics that can be used or adapted for your community. The Central Region Homeland Security Advisory Council has prepared the links below for you to access the toolkits and make your community #floodready.
