The Central Region Homeland Security Advisory Council has partnered with the Office of the Inspector General's MCPPO Program and Anna Maria College to host Cybersecurity 101: Addressing Threats to Local Government. This training will be held March 10th, 2020 at Anna Maria College, Foundress Hall, Room F117, 50 Sunset Lane, Paxton, MA 01612.
This course provides attendees with an overview and conceptual understanding of cybersecurity, the risks associated with poor cybersecurity, the tools available to reduce local government exposure to cyber-attack, and procuring IT services.
The Council is offering to reimburse the course fee ($200) for up to 50 individuals from jurisdictions/organizations in the Central Region (Worcester County).
