AmbuBus Serves Multiple Roles

Council funded assets must serve a Regional Homeland Security nexus to qualify for funding. Many of the Council’s assets serve the Region in many ways outside of Homeland Security. Today, the Council funded AmbuBus (funded with FFY07 funds) was able to serve as a rehabilitation and warming area for residents effected by an unfortunate structure fire. First responders also utilized the AmbuBus for quick relief from the blistering cold. The AmbuBus has also played an important role in COVID-19 patient transport and distribution of PPE. The Council salutes the efforts of the members of Central Mass. EMS Corp. Bravo Zulu!
